Ya I'm just going by what I've read about strawberries being tart, never used them myself. I'm a last minute person so I procrastinated and this batch is the batch I'm bottling. I wish I could have run a test batch first. Just kind of wanted some opinion on what home brewers think about...
So I've used vanilla bean before In a porter. But not in a strawberry blonde. I'm brewing 10 gallons and bottling for guests at my wedding in April. Not all, or most of them having the appreciation for anything other then bud or colors light. So I decided to brew a strawberry blonde to...
European lager can and 3 pounds of pilsen dme. No bubbles out of airlock after 5 days. Temp is 51. Is this possible? Can I transfer to carboy and lager? Advise needed

Never had this happen. Brewing a European lager and I think I dropped the temp to fast cuuz it wasn't fermenting. So I raised the temp to 63 and it started bubbling so I dropped it back to fifty degrees. Now there's a rotton egg smell and my gf is pissed. I need some help explaining what is goin on.
So I had a European lager can kicking around so I figured I I would brew it to fill. A slot I had in my kegerator. After my cold break I started the ferment at about 55 degrees. After two days there was zero activity. So I raised the temp to now 65 and I'm getting bubbles in my airlock. Should I...
This is my first attempt at a lager(Czech pils). I'm not expecting to much from it but I raised the temp to 65 but now I have no idea how long to let it sit like that.
You think 55 is a little to warm? I guess I was afraid to drop below 50. What temp would you have fermented at? And this might be a dumb question but how should I check the ferment to see if its done? Syfon through the airlock hole or open the lid?
