Well I've been researching making and ale and thought this might be a good first start.

OK, so I want to move away from kits and I came up with this, its pretty simple. 5 Gallons 6.6 lbs Briess Golden light LME .5 lb light crystal malt steeped till 170 2 oz Cascade hop pellets at beginning boil .75 Simcoe hop pellets to finish Sound OK?
