Hops straight in for me. I have done three batches so far and havent had any clogging issues. I did remove the spring valve before my first brew.

    Grainfather!!

So Grainfather arrived last night. I assembled and ran some cleaner through, but I ended up with a couple of screws and some gaskets that I don't know where they belong. I could not find any leaks, any ideas?

    What are you drinking now?

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale. Normaly I have no problem drinking 6 beers. With this Barleywine, one is about it. First Barleywine I have ever tried so I can't really compare it to anything.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Thanks for the help. I decreased my hop additions like you suggested. All went well till my hop bag opened and they were all loose in the boil. Kept clogging my kettle drain and I had to keep sticking a wire in the valve to keep it flowing to my fermentor.
