    How to calculate total volume of grain and water?

    So, I want to make Maris Otter sMasH, but in the original recipe batch volume is 28 litres, but my kettle is total volume 30 liters. How can I adjust grain quantity so that beer remains the same?

    I did it last week, and I perfected my method. So I have 30 liters kettle, starting with 25 liters of water and 8 kilograms of the grain, my kettle was too small. So I started with 20 liters of water, and than after the mash i added missing water. I poured water heated ad 67 degrees celsius...
