Corny wont hold pressure - what to do?

I have one keg that has trouble sealing at the main seal. What I do is run the lubed up o-ring under hot tap water for a minute or two then close the keg and blast it with 30-40 psi. This seals it up nicely and won't leak after that.

My Collection of Branded, British beer Glasses.

I'd love to get one if I could. I'm open to almost anything, but would prefer something that's not a guinness since you can find those here. I'm sure shipping to Canada wouldn't cost any more than to the USA. I'm willing to pay for the postage up front. I think it makes more sense for the...

how long will beer last in a cornelius keg?

If it's sealed properly and there's no infection, then it's just like a big bottle. Some beers will improve with age, others will not. A big barleywine will probably get better after a few years.

Do I need to use the plastic collars on my shanks?

I'm setting up my keezer right now and I am installing my faucets on the collar of my freezer. The shanks came with the black plastic collars that are supposed to go up against the wood. I think it looks better without them. Is there any reason why I should use the black pastic collars on...

Best yeast to use for cider

Defalco's sometimes carries S-04. Call the different locations to see if they have any right now. I've made Graff (using store bought apple juice) with it and it turns out really nice.

I have been known to use this wort in my cooking. Either as a marinade, or in a nice stew or chili.

check rona or home hardware. They usually have a nice red one that many canadian brewers use. A keggle fits perfectly on it.

Looking to buy gear online in Canada...

Rona usually sells a propane burner. And canadian tire should have some large stockpots. I'm not sure if they're on the website, but I have seen them at most locations.
