Brewed this last night and my OG came in at 1.094, pretty close to target. This stuff looks like Iraqi crude...cannot wait.

Brewing this Tuesday when my scale gets in. Looks like a winner.

I just got a 10 gallon stainless steel MegaPot from Northern Brewer. Before using it, I mildly washed the surface of it with a white damp washcloth. I noticed this blue-gray residue on the washcloth when I was done with it... NB said that it's the "minute layer" of the kettle, and that...

Almost every time I make an IPA I get this problem. It's definitely a bizarre off-flavor that comes through - for me I think its because of my fermentation temperatures which are usually higher than normal. I really need to get ferm chamber. The higher temperatures can cause an overabundance...
