I'm going to a beer tasting with friends tomorrow. Obviously I'll take along a nice commercial bottle or two and some homebrew. That said, I'm the only homebrewer in the crowd.
I thought it would be nice to also bring some hops throughout the spectrum (I think I have the hop part covered...
@OP
I know the feeling, this happened to me once. I let a friend take one to read on the airplane after he visited. Years later I was searching for a clone recipe and sure enough, every post I can find is like "Check this one issue of BYO, they nailed the clone in the recipe card that month."...
I kegged a beer out of my fermenter last May and then non-brewing stuff kept my mind off brewing until this month. It turns out I didn't clean my fermenter at the time. (Usually when I'm kegging I pop the airlock back on and clean it the next day, but this time my airlock ran dry.)

As I was leaving the LHBS today, another customer walked in. The clerk asked the guy how he could be of assistance. The door shut behind me just after hearing the start of his answer so the only part I caught was "My tap handle just snapped off."
What's the backstory on that!?!? How does...
I got this out of it too. I didn't peg it as "extract twang" but wouldn't disagree with that assessment. I had it pegged as "boozy." But more of a boozy twang. But I've also only drank my bottled portion, will tap the kegs later this week.
15 gallons made, bottled 5 gallons, kegged 10.
After a few empty tanks at inconvenient times, I developed a habit of turning on the co2/n2 at the beginning of the evening and turning it off at the end of the evening. I've never had the tanks inside the keezer, but for frequent on/off, having them outside has to be easier than inside.
Doing a little reshuffling and I have some items I no longer need.
$70 - Drip Tray with drain and back splash. Big enough for 4-5 taps.
$35 - Bench capper
$40 - Single-tap tap tower

I'm open to shipping if you'll cover the costs.

The sides are typically where the cooling coils are, so unless you're graced with a lot of talent in refrigeration you're better off steering clear of cutting them. I like that hatch idea though.
You piqued my interest and I looked it up in the complete joy of homebrewing. He recommends pasteurizing the fruit by tossing it in at the end of the boil. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 15-20 minutes at 150-180 degrees. Too hot and you'll cause the pectins to set, too low and it...
Sideways to keep the cork wet so that it stays expanded. It's not a big deal to leave it upright for months at a time, they do that in wine stores all the time.
@coyote68
You're talented, the range of styles of beers you've sent and the quality of each is wonderful. I commend you for not only doing a lot of styles, but doing them well. It takes some courage to dabble in sours and gose.
