Bottling from keg and allowing bottles to warm

I had a similar question except I'm not bottling. Basically I have a so-so beer on tap right now and I have one that is ready to take its place that I am excited to try. Can I just take the so-so out of the kegerator and store at basement temps in the keg and put back in another time with no ill...

    No Sparge Question

Do I need to have a pump and recirculate during the mash? Can I load up my MLT with the necessary water (less 1 or 2 gallons for mash out) and grain, mash for 60 minutes, mash out with the 1 or 2 gallons of reserved water, vourlauf, and drain to the BK?

10 Gallon batch using a standard turkey fryer

I am about to do my first 10 gallon batch but I use a standard turkey fryer (I think its a Masterbuilt brand) and a keggle. I feel like it takes a long time to bring 8 gallons to boil for a 5 gallon batch so I am really sckeptical on how long it will take to bring 13 gallons to boil. Anyone else...

    Missed my OG

I did adjust for temp. I think the issues came from too much sparge water and not enough boil off. I have about 6 gallons in the fermenter and my calculations and grain bill was for 5.5. I want to add some DME to a very small amount of water, basically just enough to disolve the extract. Boil...

    Missed my OG

This is my second AG batch and I only got 60% eff. when I planned for 75% which gave me an OG of 1.051 when I was aiming for 1.064. I wanted to add some DME but I don't have any and wont be able to get it until tomorrow night and by that time it will have been in the fermenter for 24 hrs. Any...

Parts to turn a sanke keg into a brew pot

I just got a keg and I want to turn it into a brew pot. Does anyone have a parts list? I could buy a conversion kit but I would rather DIY it and save a few bucks.

    Is my beer infected?

Great post...my main concern was the fact that they tasted so much alike that I was assuming I had a scratch in my bucket and have some sort of bacteria in there. i was drinking my last batch of Dogfish Head clone 7 days later and it was good, it did get better with time, but it did not have...

    Is my beer infected?

I have brewed about 5 batches with success, but my last 2 have tasted like what I can only explain as "bready". The first is a pale ale and the second is a Dogfish Head 60 clone. they both taste very similar and the hops in both are extremely different (Warrior, simcoe, and amarillo for the DFH...
