I would like to add one more thing to what you said above. When forced to shoot someone that breaks in you are better off going for a good clean kill if you can at all help it. By having less than lethal loads in your shotgun could land you in more hot water than having slugs or OO buck shot...

Field stripping this new model is easy as can be, flip open a lever in the trigger guard pull the slide back and lift it. Then let it come back forward and off the barrel, that simple. Also from all reports I have seen it will eat just about anything feed to it. So far I haven't shot it...

Just added a plinking gun to my guns that I own. Picked up the new Ruger SR22 .22 semi-auto. So far it seems to be a great little fun gun to shoot.

We use to take our M16 (AR 15) into the shower or even boil the parts in water. It never hurt them a lick, so I don't see what Oxy Clean is going to do to the piston that will hurt it any. It isn't like you are dropping it in a corrosive liquid like Coke Cola which will eat rust off of a bolt...

Given that we have the 2nd Amendment why should we have to have a permit to carry in the first place?

If it is because the Goex Black Powder is corrosive then swab the bore down with some windex glass cleaner to neutralize it and then you can clean it in the next day or so.

Well after I racked it to a new jug it has cleared up allot. How long should it sit in the secondary before I rack it to bottles. It looks as if it is all done fermented out.

Anyone have a close up picture of the check valve?
