    How much dog hair is acceptable in a homebrew?

    Love Leo's. I have a Bernese Mountain/Golden mix, Bernese Mountain, and a Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees mix. Hair everywhere. I gave up on the hair a long time ago.

    Having 3 long haired big dogs, their fur gets into literally everything, and so it is an inevitable ingredient in every one of my batches. It is their contribution. No issues.

    Apologize for my rant. With the loss of brew shop, I have been searching as well. I saw the error over the weekend but was able to have a buddy pick up and deliver. I guess broadcasting it is what got to me as I would hate to lose another local brew store as the struggle is real. Cheers!

    Nice work publicizing what you had to have known or at least should have known was an error. With local home brew stores struggling and many going out of business, I am sure broadcasting it helped their bottom line. FH are good people and honored the error but did not deserve such treatment...

    Cold crashing with a Speidel fermenter?

    Even if the Spiedel holds up to the vacuum of the cold crash, which I suspect it will as soon as you open it up oxygen will come rushing in, which in my mind defeats much of your objective.
