It cost 150.00 to lease the tank (i get all...

    Cherry soda request

Reading this post made me try some cherry soda.. I took about 10 or so maraschino cherries , blended them and 3 or 4 tablespoons of its syrup and added to 20oz cold iced water and carbonated (forced). Cherry soda is now in a close running with my all time favorite, birch beer..

I was on the hunt for this as well for a while, I came accross this http://www.faeriesfinest.com/E183.html?gclid=CLSl87Xw47UCFcdDMgodx2AAyA and bought it. This is the clear kind of birch beer (unlike what the picture is). a little goes a long way. 10 drops + 4 tsp sugar + 20oz water, then add...

    Tip to avoid soda eruptions

i have never tried this method while carbonating with yeast baking soda/powder etc.. only by forcing co2 from a tank into a PET bottle. So i cant say if it would in the method you are using to carbonate. but i think the idea is the same.. if the bottle is a bit soft before you open it, that...

    Tip to avoid soda eruptions

If you make soda with a fizz giz or carbonation cap where you shoot the co2 into the bottle and shake.. you probably noticed some recipes will fuzz up all over the place when you open the bottle.. try this.. Fill bottle with co2 normally until it gets hard and shake until bottle is soft...

    super concentrated flavorings?

I use RIO flavorings and Lorann oils (mostly RIO).. very good. Using there concentrates rather than syrup is best... cheaper (a lot) and you can add your own sugar to taste..

    "bubble gum" flavor?

Loranne oils has a very good bubble gum flavor. 5 drops or so mixed with some RIO flavorings (strawberry and/or cherry), 3-5 teaspoons of sugar in a 20oz soda bottle, then carbonate (i have a fizz giz).. tastes just like bubble gum
