    Alternative to Avery Mailing Labels

Any update on how that damp dishrag idea worked?

    Three Newest labels

What are you using to glue your labels? And do you have bleeding/fading issues with just using standard paper?

    QR keg caps

I volunteer at a local brewery and we have had the same problems with our distributor losing the collars. Our solution was a small 2"X2" sticker (with the beer name on it) applied to the dome of the keg. Now, if the collar comes off, the name of the beer is right under it. It is a pain to remove...

Chronical Fermenter by SS Brewing Technologies

Now this kind of price point will get a lot more guys into stainless. I'm half tempted to pick up one as soon as they come back in stock. One 7gal should hold me over until the 14's come out :-)

    Malting Gluten Free Grains

Sorry to resurrect a dormant thread, but I just read though all 20 pages.... Has anyone evolved towards automating some their malting equipment in the last 3 years of this thread's existance? and if so, anyone have any pics?

    Midnight wheat vs wheat

Although midnight wheat has a HUGE effect on a beer, I wouldn't say 2 lbs is too much for a 30lb grain bill. I just finished up the last few bottles of a Belgian Wit with 2lbs in a 15lb bill... Yes, it is black as oil, but it was oh so good. Finished it off with habanero in secondary.

    Immersion Fermentation Temp Control

    Immersion Fermentation Temp Control

If ambient is that close to your target temp, you should be good. Having that much water around it will keep it very close to ambient. Sounds like a good plan.

    Immersion Fermentation Temp Control

The first thing I see that would be an issue is you are trying to cool ALOT of liquid with just an ice chest full (wort+fermentation heat+water around fermenter)... I bet you would run through Ice very quickly trying too cool all that. What about wrapping the chiller coils tightly around the...

    CO2 volume recomendations...

Just realized that I never updated this thread... I wasn't much of a fan of the first two gallons I bottled, but boy was the 2.5 gallons that had habanero spectacular. I have been pouring it at 55° And the flavors are GREAT. The habanero never really hits you, it just slowly builds until your...
