    What is all the talk about 4 wire from the panel for? He has 240v in his box, his main plug has two hots running to a 2 pole breaker, one neutral leg running to a terminal strip, and a ground. Your L6-30 outlet can be rewired, no need for a new outlet. Like I said earlier, just replace one...

    If your element that you plan on running at 120v is actually rated at 240v its output will be reduced by 4, not 2. Rewiring the element is as simple as removing one hot lead and replacing it with a neutral.

    Keggle Bad Weld Question

    The first weld looks like your welder forgot to turn on his gas. The brownish/copper color haze up the inside of the kettle is a dead giveaway.

    Here is what I did for lighting. 1 inch galvanized water pipe with 5 lights in each bar with mason jar globes. I'm just throwing all that I've got at you guys all at once, so if there are any questions or suggestions, I'm more than happy to answer.

    Framing and plywood. I put the plywood on the upper 4 ft of the walls as a backer for the pallet wood. Galvanized barn roofing will cover the bottom half.
