    Bottling mead - Caps vs Corking mead - either method superior?

    If you are giving out bottles as gifts, I'd suggest corks. For people who don't know mead, they immediately associate it with wine, and won't be as shocked by the alcohol content if they drink it like wine and not beer. It also is better presentation for gifts, IMO. Also better for long term...

    Diluting mead?

    While bioling out the oxygen will probably avoid oxidizing it too much, remaining yeast can also be an issue I think. Others on the board please correct me if I'm wrong. Bottled mead will still have sugars remaining. As the alcohol content rises, much of the yeast dies off, but some will...

    Just had my first ever sip of Mead (Green)

    Mead just gets better with time. I find 3 years is amazing to have, just ages very well. I still have a few bottles of 7 year left, goes down sooo smooth.
