I haven't personally used the therminator, so I couldn't say for sure, but it will be stainless just like the Blichmann. It is built like it with the same materials, if that is what you are asking.

That is definitely true. I remember thinking there was going to be a relatively quick learning curve. I was surprised how long it took to get a decent handle on all the moving parts. But now it is always smooth sailing.

Well said. I have taken notes of each brew day and learn a lot from each round. Figuring out how the system reacts to different actions is a delicate thing. The more you introduce to a brew day the more that go wrong. I knew I would have a learning curve, but I would agree that it was a lot...
Yes. A hood is definitely a strong suggestion when brewing indoors. The only con would have to be start up costs.
