    Waterproof Label Printing Company?

creativelabelconcepts.com I used the waterproof label W38-WB1. I used the bubble jet printer ones. Made for a wine bottle, but the best size they had for beer bottles. Worked OK. Casual water was fine, ie: bottle sweating, wet hands. Long term water contact, not so good. Needed to...

    Netflix Instant: Beer movies

Didn't big brewing threaten to cancel advertising if they continued the show? Actually really enjoyed it.

Stumbling Parrot Brewery - New Label

Very nice! I was joking a about the stumbling, and think both labels are excellent.

    Better and better

I let the BB kit ferment for two weeks, unlike the Coopers that sat for only a week. The Coopers tastes amazing now after bottle conditioning for 2 months and the BB kit tastes pretty darn good after being in the bottle for 4 weeks. I am interested to see how much faster the BB kit conditions...

    Better and better

Brewed only two batches so far. Starting with kits until I get my feet wet. 1st Coopers IPA. Not a real IPA, not hoppy enough. Better and better as it bottle conditions. 2nd Brewers Best American Light. Brewed for the wife to keep her happy, although she does like the Coopers. 1st...

Recycling Beer Bottles -- Tricks for Glue Removal?

Oxiclean and hot water. Labels fall off in under an hour. Just wipe off the excess glue while rinsing and all is well. Sam Adams, Dogfish Head, Great Lakes all come off real easy. I try to stick with Sams from my local beer distributor. They let me pick and choose from the return pile...

    Yeast question

Hello all. Just bottled my 2nd batch. Brewers Best American Light. Yeah, I know, why brew a light beer? To satisfy my SWMBO's taste, thus allowing me to continue brewing! Ok, my question. First batch, Coopers IPA (not very tasty) had about 1/2" creamy yeast on the bottom. This batch...

    Sanitization

:rockin: Starsan is kinda expensive, until you realize how far it goes. Bought a 1.99 spray bottle and use maybe 1 total bottle to clean equipment and such when brewing and then bottling. I go overboard with it and spray EVERYTHING.

    Brewers Best hops question

Thanks for the info guys. Just a bit jittery for my 2nd batch. After doing some digging, I read some tiny print on the box that if grain bags were needed, they'd be included. So, I need to relax and have fun and start the 2nd brew. :)

    Brewers Best hops question

They are pellets. My concern is, am I supposed to strain what is left of the hops prior to putting in the fermenter? Does whatever is left after the boil effect the taste of the brew if it's in the fermenter for 2 weeks, or is it supposed to be in there? I searched for other posts...

    Brewers Best hops question

Can you explain hop oils? The two packets I have look like pellets. Thanks.
