@mj I went back and the spa panel on clearance was marked back up to over $50 so I didn't buy it.
@cfrazier77 there was a limited AMT of TC fittings left, most of which I didn't see a need/use for on 5 gal systems. Lots of everything else there though.
Also word is the CFC and TC parts are a...
Ahhh, so it is!
The left two ports look like sanke connections, one at least. The other on the left looked like it is missing it's bearing. The two on the right I have no clue what they are
I am at a bar and I see the manager walk by with this keg.
Two sanke connections one of which looks broken and two other... Ports?
Is there a name and/or use for this bad boy?
Also with multiple kegs on tap, I often have half a glass of each instead of full pints. It at least makes me feel like I'm conserving beer.
Also bottling is ~50x more of a PITA than kegging.
Lastly with kegging I can do a second dry hop in the keg if Im feeling a little frisky
Not scrapyard related but I think it was a score, I got a 50a spa panel on clearance for $17
Seems like a good deal to me, please don't hate me too much :D
So I made a batch for a friend's wedding and all the homebrew for the occasion is getting a pun-y name. Im going to muse on this tonight, but does anyone have a groan worthy Apfelwein name?
Hypothetically, do you think that the motion of the ocean will keep yeast in suspension in both your primary and secondary? Does the ball on the fast ferment help to contain some of the yeast?
Awesome freaking plan btw, sounds like a helluva time!
I misspoke, when I said champagne yeast I meant the montrachet yeast as recommended, it always treats me right.
Currently all three batches I've done with montrachet were better IMO than my first batch with mangrove Jack's.
