    I bought a brewers best Hefe extract kit and it sucked. Well the beer was good but it wasn't any thing like a hefe weizen. Oh well I guess I'll just have to try one from another company.

    What are you drinking now?

    I have a Southern Tier 2XIPA in the glass and a northern brewers Houblonmonstre Tripel IPA chilling off. Southern Tier has really been knocking my socks off lately. Great stuff.

    Just a side question. What would happen if he pitched the yeast waited a few days and found it was dead? Couldn't you just pitch a new yeast at that time or does it spoil the batch?
