    Best Ingredient Purchase Sites

Well maybe I should let you guys know about the brew shop near me. Their site is www.homebrew4less.com and Northern Brewers prices cant touch them....Midwest Supplies is close and might even out depending on shipping charges not sure. Looks like my best bet just might be making the drive down...

    Best Ingredient Purchase Sites

Working on a pretty tight budget but Im brewing a large amount of beer to give out as wedding favors for...

    Prioritizing Equiptment Purchases

Not sure if im ready to jump into all grain brews. I've been reading some books and although im not an idiot, im not a chemistry master. I like to do things right and I think I need to research some more before jumping into the all grain brews. As for the bottles, I've already gone through...

OG was fine.... My best guess is that ended the fermentation period early although I followed the directions.....my coopers fermenter does not bubble..... A separate problem in which I've solved on a seperate post this is a fermenter issue that does not affect the beer

    Too Sweet

So far I have brewed 2 homebrews....1st one was the one that came with my Cooper's homebrew kit. This was a Cooper's Lager and a 23L batch. This ended with an apple-like taste. All directions were followed and all equipment thoroughly cleaned. 2nd batch was an American Light Ale this was a 5...

    2nd Batch...Bubbling Issues?

Mine must be one of the older ones because it has the screw on lid and the airlock in the middle. I'll try the exacto method for the next batch. I've also thought about just using it as a secondary ferementer for future brews and using a carboy. The Cooper's fermenters is great for bottling...

    2nd Batch...Bubbling Issues?

I've recently invested in a Cooper's Brewing Starter kit. After carefully following the instructions for my first no boil Lager, I noticed no "bubbling" activity coming from the fermenter. I fermented in the winter and I thought maybe it was too cold, despite my efforts to keep the brew warm...
