    2 gallons in 5 gallons? OK?

    At the moment I dont have the facilities to do full 5 gallon boils so I'm taking it as a chance to try some odd stuff. I suppose I could have a look at recipies for some interesting partial boils but I figure I'll try some unusual small batches to see how I get on.

    Thanks for the response AZ_IPA, I was expecting people to maybe read this post and just assume (and rightly so!) that I was a lazy git and leave again. What kind of a beer will I be lookin at with this recipe?

    I want to brew a few small batches just to experiment but only have 5 gallon buckets for fermentation and was just wondering is there any harm in putting a 2 gallon batch into a 5 gallon fermentor? :confused: Will the air in the fermentor cause the beer any harm or will the co2 coming from...

    How long will a starter last?

    I made a starter from a wyeast smack pack last Saturday planning to brew on Sunday but a whole load of stuff got in the way and now I probably wont be able to brew till this Saturday. I'm just wondering what effect if any will the weeks wait have on the starter? Will it still be good...

    just tried my first beer

    Congrats, I only tried my first a couple of weeks ago and I was very exciteable! Its very tempting to crack them open very early but luckily I'm particularly lazy and the beer is kept upstairs, its a sort of artificially created patience.

    Seal/Label Generator - An Easy Way to Make Labels

    Hopefully it gets sorted soon coz I really want to make some labels with it, I've used it for other stuff in the past and its so handy. I guess nobody knows anything about it?
