All good advice. More than likely, after some deducting in my head, its the capping procedure. I felt like I mixed the priming solution well and its only a few of the bottles. Thanks for your help.

well i did have a friend of mine help me cap them this time. We capped them immediately after each bottle was filled. Its not rocket science but a little different experience for someone who has no idea what they're doing. Like I said, its probably 1/5 bottles

I've done some research on the BB. Considering upgrading to them. From what I've read they are designed not to soak up odors or flavors. Many people are saying they are easy to clean/sanitize

Has anyone had great experiences using the racking adapter for your BB? Is it really worth getting the ported BB? Also, do you just use your siphon hose attached to racking adapter to rack to secondary?

does anyone have plans for a simpler washer. Also, approximately how much did this cost to build?
