I agree, I hate to waste anything. Even 5 year old LME (from a subpar Mr beer kit to begin with) Im a real glutton for punishment.

Yea, don't do this. Brewed a couple weeks ago and it is pretty terrible. I guess it was worth a shot? who knows, I definitively now know what "extract twang" tastes like. I guess theres that. If its old just throw it away or use it to Bake?

Picked up a gallon of cider at Whole Foods. what yeast should I use? Montrachet, cotes de Blanc, or a package or mr beer yeast? I could always order some if you have any suggestions on other strains. thanks in advance for your time
