Why the hell do laptops have to be so hot?

I think most Computer company's are calling them notebooks now for that very reason. Check where the air vents are on the bottom of your lappy... make sure your not covering them up with your legs. Ive found my lappy heats up if i cover the vents, but cools down really quickly once i move it...

    How To Stay Sober?

Gotta dissagree with that one. The bitter taste buds are at the back of the toung. and sseing as beer tends to ahve a kinda bitter taste to it, the only way to get the full flavour from the beer is to swallow it...

    How To Stay Sober?

Drink a glass of milk before you start drinking... lines the stomach or something... supposed to make you not get as drunk. Might be worth a shot. And also... If ya find yourself getting a little two drunk... Go for the PowerSpu. Works wonders. Just make sure your near the toilets or a garden...

Quickest secondary in the history of secondarys

Just did a pilsner. Went to the tap to draw a small amount for a SG reading and noticed the tap was leaking a little... no problem, tightend the tap, wiped away the drips... still leaking. Tighten again... still leaking. BUGGER! Run out to get my second carboy. Cleaned it, stealaised it. put...

    How much Gas

The "How long to brew an all-grain batch?" thread got me thinking. I know there are gonna be a lot of variables here, but how much gass does everyone go through during an AG batch? Say a 9KG gas bottle... How many batches would that last? Cheers Chrus

    Ahgoddamnit!

These kegs were gonna be free... well maybe they would of cost me a few home brews... but thats a good price. Might be worth sending off a few emails to brewerys in the area... guess that couldnt hurt. Wouldnt shipping something that big from the US be SUPER expencive?

    Ahgoddamnit!

My keg guy fell through. My mate was gonnahook me up with an empty keg or 3... would of been perfect for getting my AG set up going. So now I have no kegs and no AG setup. Im gonna have to find another place to get my empty kegs from. Grrrr....

    How not to light fire

My sisters friends tried that once... they thought it would be a good idea to put a can of deoderant in the middle of all that sparkler dust. Luckly someone was still sobre and pointed out how bad of an idea that could of been...

    Deciding on a chilling method

Just throwing this out there... but have you thought of using the no-chill method? Instead of chilling your wort, jsut chuck it in a sanatised, airtight container and leave it over night, then transfer to your carboy and add yeast the next morning. Doesnt take up much space, and uses no water...
