    Help!! Bottling but notice floaters!!

It all sunk or dissolved before I started bottling. Probably just being paranoid. Been a while since I bottled a batch.

    Help!! Bottling but notice floaters!!

Hi gang, this is my 10 th batch. I've just transferred to my bottling bucket from the primary. It's an Imperial pale ale kit. It's been in the primary for less than 2 months. With some temps over 75 while stored. But the fermentation and about 2 to 3 more weeks of storage is within temp...

    Rookie question RE: Growlers

I have a couple of nice growlers I received as gifts. I don't use kegs and usually bottle all my previous batches. My question if you even can how would you bottle direct to a growler? Or really can the twist cap hold in the pressure of final fermenting, etc. Regards,

Flip cap bottles (grolsch) NEVER AGAIN!!!

It was the plastic O-rings on the caps. My supply store has stopped carrying them. Same recipe and process as previous that came out great. No biggie. I've got another batch ready. Crown caps going forward. I'm cool with that.

5 gal batch of IPA. HOW long start to drink?

I'd rather not rush a batch just to say it's mine. The gang knows I brew and they all like my stuff. They'll have to wait for the end if summer bash. That works for me. Cheers

5 gal batch of IPA. HOW long start to drink?

roughly. Of course. I realize there are numerous variables. My wife just said you should have a batch for the July 4 party! Hmmm can I? I thought. Do I have to get put of bed right now, I thought? Then I remembered. You guys will know. Thanks

Flip cap bottles (grolsch) NEVER AGAIN!!!

Choco is correct. My bottles will support the flip cap only. I have just seen a bottle which is both crown cap for the shipping and storage. a neat packaging idea. If I had the option it may have helped.

Flip cap bottles (grolsch) NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have about twelve 750 ml bottles Imperial IPA in this situation. Im not sure how to go about calculating the Sugar needed per bottle so I'd appreciate some advice on that. But I'll grab some priming sugar for that purpose. The caps I used this time were not rubber but orange plastic. It...

Flip cap bottles (grolsch) NEVER AGAIN!!!

Bottles were FLAT! The taste is there, good alcohol content, nice color but no fizz. The flavor IMHO with this needs to have some head to really release the flavor and mouth feel. Otherwise Meh! When I was first starting my brewing education I did see a youtube video of a guy who bottled...

Flip cap bottles (grolsch) NEVER AGAIN!!!

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f37/time-bottles-fridge-492467/ The above link brings you to a thread I created regarding my first blown batch. 1 out of 7. I'm sticking with Crown style caps from now on. GRRR I'm warning others about this too!

    Time for bottles to Fridge??

I blame the caps. A reminder, this is a 750 ml amber bottle with a Grolsh style or flip cap. Well, I went with extra time out of the fridge. And added another week and a half. Then added some more time in the fridge. also more than suggested. I've also saved about 6 bottles at room temp...

    Time for bottles to Fridge??

Thanks. More time in the cold?? Or should I have left them out at room temp longer? Worrywort

The first batch of 12 oz bottles and 1 750 ml bottles came out great! The second batch of 750s is flat! :(. Any ideas?
