    Are you using a basket or is the brew bag resting right on the boil coil during mashing? Love this setup and was thinking of something very similar but with the 7.5g 120v kettle for 3.5 gal batches. Have more pics of brew day and the inside of the kettle? Thanks!

    Induction hot plate or SS Brewtech 1V E-brewery?

    I love the simplicity of a kettle and an induction plate. I’ve also considered the SSBrewtech 1V but can’t justify it when my induction setup works just fine. I do use the IC3500 and have had great luck with it for many years. Hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself!

    Drinking my shot at this quick beer, 30 minute whirlpool and DH at 24 hours. Needs a few more days to carb but not bad for a 1:20 brew day!

    All was good! The snub nose box was packed inside a larger brown box from NB. The whole thing weighs less than 10 lbs so probably got tossed around by UPS plenty but seems all good to me.     Just got the shipping notice this morning! I was surprised as I thought it would be a while due to it being a pre order My chest freezer fermentation chamber is essentially 15.5x15.5x28 so hoping everything fits including a ball lock disconnect for a blowoff tube Time will tell once I get it
