I myself would go with the 1/8" wall tube. It will weld much easier and and have much more strength. When in doubt.... build it stout. You will probably have this for a long time. Also if you move it around alot, I think I would want it to be really strong. Have fun with the build.

I had the same problem. The 1/8" fitting going into the burner was flowing way to much volume of propane. I took JB weld and filled the 1/8" nipple full. Then I took a 0.030" drill and drilled a hole through the JB weld. This restricted the flow enough to get a blue flame that wouldn't turn...

I lay out a hole with some dividers than I use my plasma cutter to rough out the hole. I follow behind with carbide burr and grind to the line. I know alot of people out there don't have these tools but this works for me.

Probably some guy bought them to put change into them.

I just purchased a new garbage can to grind my grapes into. I hear that plastic cans with HDPE stamped are acceptable to store the must. The can I have has PP stamped on it. Is there a bag or a liner that I could use to store the must in?

Well I wont be powder coating the press....They want $205.00 to do it! Ouch. Help me out here. What paint can I use?

Well I bought this old wine press and I started to clean it up. It had a thick sticky sludge all over the cast base. I started scrubbing it up and found that this sludge has caused the paint on the castings to flake off. I don't want it to get in the juice, and I don't want it to rust up either...

Does the k-meta have another name. Also how do you mix it. I would think that it needs to be mixed right?

I just purchased a used press and grinder. The wood slats are in decent shape. Overall the equipment looks pretty good. There is some old junk in the threads and on the press. I would like to clean it and sanitize the press before I use it. What do you use to clean your equipment? ( soaps...

Hello all, I'm currently building a Brutus Ten style brew system with ASCO valves. My concern is when the gas valve opens to allow propane to flow, the sudden release of pressure from the tank. Is it going to trip the anti tip over valve in the propane tank? I have had problems with another...

I ended up with so ASCO valves I bought on EBay. Part number JKF8210G94. They are a 1/2" valve. I got them for $30.00 Ea. Brand new!!!:)
