    SRM waay darker than predicted

    Did you ever get to the bottom of this? My last batch ended up several degrees darker than I had planned; the flavor (malt) was spot on, but the color threw off the taste buds.

    +1 This actually is really important. One of the few times you want to save the three cents for a pound of Mortons. I can't speak for the messing up on the fermentation, but it does alter the flavor significantly.
