Port 3 Main beer out with tube 1/4" from bottom
Port 4 Emergency out tube 3" from top of keg for when people show up without notice

There seems to be a lot of first batch questions, so here's mine. I got a kit that makes 1Gal. It say's to ferment for 10 day's at 70 F. My basment is steadt ay 65 F. Should I rack it on the 10th day or ferment it in primary a few day's longer.

35' copper coil, 1 garden hose, 2 hose clamps. Coil the copper around your bottling bucket to form the coil, cut the hose and clamp 1/2 on each end of coil. This will cool 10 gallons in about 15 minutes and at a reasonable cost.
