    Only foam after moving keg

This seems to happen whenever I move a keg that is 1/2 or less full. No matter how carefully I move it, afterwards it pours almost all foam. The only way I know to fix it is depressurize the keg just before I pour, and just let the beer flow really slowly. Anyone else see this? This seems to...

    Firestone kegs dispense too fast

One of my Firestones finally blew. I measured the ID of the dip tube - it's 3/8". The other kegs have dip tubes with an ID of of 5/16". Apparently that makes enough difference that the beer just gets around the epoxy mixers I put in the dip tubes. Grainger has 3/8" mixing tubes. I'm going...

    Firestone kegs dispense too fast

Thanks Ravenshead. I saw that post also, but it doesn't really help either. I have the Firestone V Challenger. The real problem is that the dip tube in these has a much bigger internal diameter than the Cornelius kegs. I've tried switching them, but the Firestone leaks if I do...

    Firestone kegs dispense too fast

Thanks, but that's not it. I've already checked the poppets on both kegs. They're both fine.

    Firestone kegs dispense too fast

I'm wondering if anyone has a solution to this. I can't seem to figure out how to get my Firestone kegs to pour slowly enough that I don't have too much foam. I have seven kegs, two of which are Firestone. The five non-Firestone kegs pour perfect. I have about fifteen feet of beer line for...

    Brew #100

Okay, everyone does this, everyone makes a big deal out of #100. I don't care, I think it's a tradition, not following the pack. So... I just brewed #98. My 100th batch is coming quickly. I'd like to brew something special for #100. Any suggestions? I'd love to brew a 10gal batch, and...

American Amber Ale Fat Sam Amber Ale

Srceenplay, Looks good to me. I'm sitting here drinking one of these as I type. Brewing a 10gal version Monday. Along with my Pale Ale, it's become one of the house brews. Great beer. One of my favorite recipes, along with BierMuncher's Centennial Blonde. Scott

I'm in. Thanks for setting this up!

    Denver CMC group grain buy.

I'm good with an extended window also. I'm okay for a couple months. I liked how you did the last one, using Google Docs to keep track of folks orders. I will commit to at least 150#, but possibly more depending on the price. No price breaks kind of sucks, but if it's still .75/lb that's...

    Denver CMC group grain buy.

I'm definitely in for 200 lbs. I bought 100 lbs. in the second Denver buy, and it's long gone. Made some great beer though. My house Pale Ale was one of the best ever. Wayne or Ryan would either of you be up to coordinate the next buy?
