    yeah, i use the 88% lactic and its always just drops to get where i'm going with a 6 gal batch using RO and building from scratch

    Or do what everyone else already said because I'm late to the party again. If you're not using the blade buffing technique, you're not getting as good a shave as you could...works for straits and DE. Give it a goog.

    I've got a dual leather/canvas from Straight Razor Designs but it was my original with my first straight. It works very well but I nicked it up a bit as a novice. Really should get another. The hardware on his strops are very nice
