I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this. I have some local breweries that are making fruit lunch beers and Gatorade flavored beers. Apparently they are using powder and some simple sugars. They are a Berliner base and taste EXACTLY like fruit punch. It’s absolutely amazing. Specially...
I’m just getting some feelers out about this. I have a local brewery that makes this beer called “Fruit Punch Project” it’s a light Berliner that tastes EXACTLY like fruit punch. I saw some other breweries that are embarking on some Gatorade berliners... WHO WHAT HOW?!?! I need to figure this...

Thanks for the reply!! My last couple batches have come out super hoppy due to me trying to do full size boils. I'll have to play around with the recipes a little to figure it out. I want to keep it at least a 5 gallon boil because my kettle has to be filled to 5 gallons to read the temperature...
SOOOOO..... I just recently purchased BeerSmith only to find out that I have been messing things up terribly with my boil sizes. I have been doing partial mash brews lately for time savings. (New mini brewmaster was born)
My recipes have been calling for 2.5 gallon boils and I have been doing...
Thats for sure an infection. With my previous experiences with infections (have had a couple ones sadly...) doesn't always mean it is DOOMED. Rack off the bottom and be sure to leave A LOT BEHIND!! Just be SUPER SUPER sanitary.
(nobody died or got sick when I did this either)
Heard. I have the same one but in lowes blue lol. I'm just hoping I don't get a still mash with it so packed in there. You still get a solid OG? I'm worried about efficiency.
Ok obviously I am a total newb at this.... I have made a couple All grain brews but NOTHING as awesome as this... I have a 10 gallon beverage cooler converted to a mash tun.... I will only be doing a 5 gallon batch of this. CAN IT FIT?!?!?! My educated guess and heart tells me no!
But...
I'm almost positive it's chill haze. I've pulled more than just a few pints. At least 8-9. I pulled one pint and let it sit on my counter overnight and it cleared up beautifully. Of course there was some serious sediment on the bottom of the glass. Soo I guess I'll just suck it up a drink...
Thanks a bunch for the reply!! I will just go ahead and try it out. WTH! But taking it out and letting it warm up and possibly letting everything settle wouldn't work?
Soooooooo I've been dabbling with brewing for a couple years now. This last batch has given me hell! It's a White House honey ale. Once I started I noticed that I didn't have any Irish moss or tabs... I transferred into secondary and left it there for a good 3 weeks. Looked great and clear to me...
