did your brew ever mellow out? mine is the same way. all bitterness and alcohol, guess ill let it age out.

Just checked on this one and it's still got a good third of an inch of krausen hanging at the top after almost 20 days. I think the graham crackers might of had something to do with that, has anyone else had this happen? Im going to give it 2 or 3 more days and then throw in the vanilla beans...

Has anyone tried this recipe subbing the bakers chocolate for Hershey's unsweetened dark powered cocoa in the boil? I've got a little over 4 oz of that sitting around and wondering if there's a reason not to use this? Thanks for sharing this recipe, ill be doing this brew over the weekend.

Okay great, I've got 2 beer fridges now anyways haha. I'm kind of leary of getting the wrong model because the tech details and spec sheets on all the ones listed on ebay don't match. I just dont wanna burn down my new house ;]...

okay, stupid question time... I need the 110v model for a standard fridge 3 prong outlet correct? The 220v model would be for a monster appliance like a clothes dryer or a Herms system right?

alright, I'm temp controller shopping. I don't mind a project so I might look at the STC-1000, I think I can handle the C-F conversion. I really like the way some of the STC-1000s look when flush mounted on units. I also like the Love temp controller but I can't see spending that much more...

with a temp controller on a standard fridge/freezer can you still maintain freezing temperatures in the freezer? my wife wants more freezer space lol. thanks for the great replies.
