That is impressively ridiculous, and it reminds me of leather face. Very well done!

Colorado GABF Tickets thursday and friday

I have extra tickets for the GABF, 2 for Thursday and 2 for Friday. I can transfer them electronically through ticket master or possibly meet up as I do live in Colorado but am pretty busy with work. $85 per ticket

Am I crazy, or is my neighbor?

It's actually 6 plants per adult in the household at the state level, unless you live in a city that has restricted it. I love in Colorado too and wouldn't want to see you try to use that but having the wrong facts.

Shout out to Toms Brew Shop - Lakewood

Half of your posts for four years are about Barley Haven, it does look a little suspicious.

I like this time at night on HBT

Working the night shift in the oilfield, but it looks like it might be my last. The company we are doong work for isn't flowing anymore wells for the rest of the year unless oil price goes up. After this shift we are done at this pad and there might not be any more work for us to go to :(

    PID vs Thermocouple

Ok cool, I think I understood that. I was looking at getting the auber 2352 which does have that fuzzy logic, so that sounds like it'll be helpful for tuning it to my system.

    Confession Time

On one of my first few batches I had a fly get into my airlock which just had water in it. I had never hears of homebrewtalk or thought about looking up brewing stuff on the internet, so I figured it had got infected and dumped it without even trying it. Also, I haven't brewed any beer in...

    PID vs Thermocouple

I will be using electric for the mashing and propane for the boil, just using the PID to control the boil

    PID vs Thermocouple

That's what I'm thinking, thank you. With the PID, can you adjust the temperature pretty easy or would that mess up the algorithms and what not when it's trying to learn the best way to keep the right temperature? I'm thinking in terms of the mash and then hearing it up for the mash out. I'm...

    PID vs Thermocouple

Ahh, OK I was thinking that the thermocouple was more accurate. Thanks for clearing that up

    PID vs Thermocouple

I have been in the process of gathering parts to get a new HERMS. I was planning on using a Johnson controller to control the temperature for the mash, and was going to get a thermocouple to be able to double check temperatures. Lately, I've been doing research on PID controllers and I'm...

    Johnson Controls A419 Ground Wire

That's exactly how I did it too. It seemed to work, I guess we'll find out when/if we get electrocuted

    HERMS Build Question

thanks guys, that helped out a lot

    HERMS Build Question

I'm in the process of gathering parts for a new HERMS system. I have a 1500 watt and 2000 watt 120 volt water heater elements. I want to use these in the HLT but am having trouble figuring out which one to use. I would like to use the 2000 watt bc it would heat faster but i think that it...
