Hey! Big thanks to all of you... Your knowledge has made our intro to homebrewing a truly enjoyable and rewarding process!.
My wife got us a Mr. Beer kit for xmas and as soon as I started researching I knew I was hooked... we now have 3 5gal batches going as well as the little mr beer...
I've been doing one brew each week on my day off... yesterday I did Caribou Slobber from nb... all went smooth.
Next week will be my first bottling day (ahs double choc. stout)...
One more month and my pipeline will be running!! :ban:

So I went to the lhbs with a shopping list for "easy blonde ale" but came out with some substitutions...
It's a blonde ale with citra at 2 minutes... going for sort of a beachy blonde lol
It's a 4gal batch... now fermenting in 5gal bb og was 1.049-1.05 ish
Batch Size: 4 gallons...
No secondary huh? I though maybe just to free up my bucket but I also know it increases my chances of messing up my batch.
I guess I totally need another primary... I have time to brew once a week and I know when my off days come around I'm going to be wishing I had another primary bucket...
