What Brewers Best Extract Kits do you like?

My BB Milk Stout came out great! It's almost gone now, but got better tasting as it aged.

    Milk Stout Help

I brewed the Brewers Best Milk Stout kit. I think I had it in primary for 4 weeks, then kegged (my first kegging). For me, the flavor of the stout keeps improving with age. So, let it condition a while and it gets better!

    Kegging Off Taste

Did you take apart the faucets and do a serious cleaning? Get a faucet brush if you don't have one, and clean everything. I also got a line brush to clean the lines, but I bought all new lines for my setup. Also check to see if your faucet seals need replacing or smell funny. I use oxi...

    Protecting the taps from babyzilla

I was thinking of putting a shut off valve on mine as well. I have standard faucets and had one stick after about 2 weeks of setting up my kegorator. I figured it would make it easier to remove the faucet for cleaning. Will something like that cause foaming?

    Wort chilling

I made my own wort chiller for $50 or so, counting tools needed (tube bender set). I had an old flaring tool so flared the ends slightly, and just stuck the tube on and used double clamps. Worked great. I do 2.5 to 3 gal boils. I also put it in an ice bath. The copper is the most expensive...

    LHBS prices vs buying online

I am thinking of getting a credit card that offers cash back on grocery buys. Are there any online stores that label their items as "groceries."

    .380 pocket holster

The supertuck is nice, but I like the M-TAC better. I have several bodies for it so when I feel like carrying a different pistol I just swap bodies. Super comfortable (at least to me).

    Quick noob keg question

Thanks. I wasn't sure it would condition when cold.

    Quick noob keg question

My milk stout has been in primary for a bit over 3 weeks and I want to try kegging. I picked up a refrigerator that was converted into a kegorator from CL and hit my LHBS for misc parts to get it working for corny kegs. Will my stout condition in the fridge while its carbonating? Or do I...

First brew - BB Milk Stout - questions questions questions!

I built my temp controller and am warming up my milk stout. It was sitting at 64F or so. Hope to continue fermenting for another week or so (3 total) at 70F.

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I had a local shop scale down a recipe to 1G for me. Do I add the whole packet of yeast, or do I scale that back somehow?

    Costco Kegerator In Stock?

Wally World has cut the price of the Nostalgia online, to $297.00. Is this a good "starter" kegerator?

STC 1000 "Ebay" Temperature Controller Build

I ordered mine off Amazon as well. Will wire it up with the diagram in this thread. Just waiting for those Craigslist posters to reply to my emails on some used freezers. ETA: Works fine. Now to heat up my fermenting milk stout...

First brew - BB Milk Stout - questions questions questions!

Good luck with your Milk Stout. Mine is fermenting as well. It was my 2nd kit and 2nd beer I brewed. Mine looked just like yours, very dark. I have it in a plastic primary. I was planning to put it in the glass carboy for secondary until I read about leaving it in primary on the forums. I...
