I personally would not transfer it to secondary, just leave it in primary. I usually let my beers sit for a couple weeks after fermentation finishes so the yeast have plenty of time to clean up and floc. You mentioned your basement has been rather warm. If it was that temp during fermentation...

Without running the number I can't be 100% sure, but I think 1oz magnum is way too much. I think 1/2 oz would be closer, but it all depends on what you want your IBU's at.

I believe their statement is both true and false. That is why I chose false and left a comment. I posted it here because it is a very debatable question.

True or false? During filtration, beer is filtered to crystal clarity. I think it depends on the filter and or how many times its ran through them.

I don't think it makes theirs false either. I just think its an open ended question..

You could definitely do this. But personally I would use a neutral bittering hop and save the mosaic till later in the boil to get the full use of its flavor and aroma profile.

My cascades are in their second year of growth. They are 9-12' tall already and starting to produce side arms and small burrs. Is this normal for second year plants. Last year this is all the taller they got and I harvested 4oz of dried cones.
