The Homebrew Review: Barley Crusher Grain Mill

BeerNutz....Are you still happy with your Maltmill? I've used the Barley Crusher for a couple of years. Experienced the wear out problems described in many of these articles....and the pain of starting a bit of grain, hoping it keeps spinning to the end of the batch, etc. It might be time...

Anheuser-Busch InBev Acquires Northern Brewer & Midwest Supplies

I agree with the comments about poor service. Some of their staff, in particular, Cheers James J are rude, arrogant, disrespectful and condescending. I no longer do business with them because of it. I see no change in the homebrew market as there are plenty of other suppliers.

    I love elk grove brewery

If you live in the Sacramento area, check out Elk Grove Brewery I just went out to dinner last night at Elk Grove Brewery. Saw the brewer working on some equipment, so I decided I'd go ask if he had any yeast he could give away to a poor hard workin' home brewer. Turns out he gives away TONS...

Christmas is only 7 weeks away!

I'm just looking forward to putting up a tree this year. While paying for our wedding, SWMBO and I had a small apartment and had no room for one. The smell of the pine just reminds me of my childhood.

    What's your favorite beer??

Can't really say it's my favorite beer, but I've been drinking it a lot lately: Blue Moon Just got back from Munich and it seems to be the closest to the German Hefes. SWMBO loves to mix Blue moon with coca cola too. <----Something she picked up in Munich:mug:

    Sacramento Brew Day

Would it be alright for some one to show up who has no all grain experience? I want to go all grain soon, but I'd like to see the process before i invest the $$ and more importantly ruin probably my first batch of beer.:D

    Brewery names--what's your story?

Prima Brewing Co. I love the music of Louis Prima, he was the voice of king Louie in Jungle Book so I'm working on a logo with an orangutan in the center.

Hi everyone! New guy from Jersey!

Welcome to the forums Not a bad kit for the price. I would rather have a glass carboy than a plastic fermenter, but some people prefer the plastic too. Good luck with your 1st batch.:drunk:
