Have brewed multiple batches of brew that come out fizzy and taste too much like carbonation. Wondering if anyone has an ingredient or idea of how to control this. Thanks
I have made three batches of beer so far and they have all ended up with a thin line of sediment in the bottles. I don't mind this but people I share beer with ask about it. I am wondering what techniques I can use to help clear the beer. I filter my beers but still seems to have left over...
Have a batch of black ale fermenting now in a plastic bucket. It is going on it sexing week of fermenting. It's OG was 1.082. I am wondering if I should use secondary fermenting or go ahead and bottle and 2 weeks. If I use secondary fermenting should I add new yeast cells to the batch?
I wasn't thinking of doing a secondary. I have read that primary fermenting brings out a better tasting and clear beer. It's my third batch so im new to it.
I just made a 5 gallon batch of dark ale. I plan on only doing primary fermentation. I am wondering if anyone had a good idea of how long I should allow for this batch to ferment before bottling? The OG is 1.082
