How many pints do I pitch down the drain before I have a decent pour? I hit the keg with gelatin 4 days ago in the upper 40's and then dropped it to 34f since then. Tastes like **** and it's really hazy but I don't want keep throwing it away if it just need more time.

Doesn't happen every time but a few times a year I'll get a cold that messes up my taste for ipa's. Nothing like cracking your favorite ipa and having it taste like **** and realizing its cause your going get sick.

See I used reused yeast and wondered if that was it. Pisses me off too cause I have an ipa fermenting with the same yeast and can already tell it's going to be the same issue.

I don't remember exactly but I didn't do anything different. As far as the chilling I get it down to 70 in about 30 min, like usual.

It's AG. I got 80% efficacy out of it and have been mashing a bit warmer these days so I can't imagine that would be an issue.

I have done nothing different with this batch than previous batches except try more clearing techniques. I use moss in the boil, I added gelatin to the keg after it was chilled, and cold crashed at 35f for almost a week. It's still cloudy as heck, it's just a bitter so it's not the hops. What...
Lol, ok tell ya what I'll dry hop an ounce of chinook or Amarillo cause that's what I have left but I'll let you choose.
