Yes it's leaking from the bottom of the post with or without the QD on, I've tried a couple different O rings now all without success

First time kegging small leak on gas input?

First time kegging tonight, bought used corny keg. Force carbing at 20psi, I was able to achieve a tight seal on the lid (turned co2 on , lifted keg by lid, sealed) I can't hear any co2 leaking but after i sprayed star san on the gas in port i got some slight bubbling. it went away after about a...

    SMASH Schlafly TIPA Clone

Download a free trial of beersmith, it will help u calculate all your amounts for recipes. As far as hopping goes I wouldn't suggest using such a nice hop as galaxy for ur 60 or 30 min addition as you'll be wasting the volatile flavor and aroma properties. Stone Enjoy By Clone

How did this turn out for you? I'm drinking a 12-21 right now and I would say on paper you made a great stab in the dark at the recipe. The only thing I'm not getting out of the grist that you mentioned is any Munich. Curious on your tasting notes from your clone! cheers

Thanks for the recipe, I just tried the commercial example of this for the first time now that blvd is available in so cal and thought the flavors were delicious. My one qualm was that its too sweet, saisons should really finish out in the single digits. I would probably try the recipe with a...

Refractometer reading swings high and low during boil

I'm getting almost a completely different Brix reading every time I use the refractometer, and what's strange is that it will actually lose points during the boil. Is this caused by the heat? Or possibly the hops? Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Thanks
