    Carboy Overflow?

    I put my first batch in a Rubbermaid tub. Good thing because it overflowed before I put the overflow tube on. I now ferment in my 6.5 gal bucket.

    us-o5 or wyeast 1056

    I just brewed the same beer this past Saturday and used the Wyeast option. It was fermenting already after 12 hours. It's only my second batch. The first was American Wheat and I used Wyeast. It turned out really good.

    Fizzy drops for 12oz bottles

    I ordered the Fizzy drops for my first batch of American Wheat. Are these good to use or would it be better to add a sugar mixture to the beer before bottling? Thanks.

    First brew fermenting

    New to home brewing and the first batch of American Wheat is fermenting. I'm hooked and haven't had my first taste yet. Regards, beerlover82

    So who's brewing this weekend?

    Brewed my first 5 Gallon batch of American Wheat. Followed directions and the only thing that went a little wrong was I boiled over the mash when I put the hops in. It's brewing nicely right now though. Can't wait to sample.
