I have two Labatts clone recipes (all grain and partial mash) I found somewhere (can't remember). They're in Beersmith 2 format.
Also Midwest sells a Fosters clone recipe kit. Navigate to it and you should be able to see the grain bill in the pic of the box. Then download the instruction pdf...
I'm going to brew this for my first all grain recipe. My thoughts are though, that I would cut the brown sugar into 2 different steps. I want to roast the pumpkin with a 1/4 cup of it sprinkled on top of the pumpkin, then use the other 3/4 cup during the boil. I also will be using 2/3 cup of...
Thanks for the quick replies. I just checked the room temperature and it's at 75 deg. It was 72 deg yesterday when I put the bucket in my hobby room. So now what? Should I let it set in there for a week to settle out or can I rack it into the secondary for a couple of weeks before bottling...

I have the raspberry extract but haven't used it yet. What I have used a few times (2 X in Canadian ale and once in a Belgian Witbier) is the blueberry extract. I don't want the extract to over power the taste of my beer so I only use 2 ozs. My beer tastes great with just a slight hint of...
I bought a wine fridge to lager in. I am now attempting my first lager with a Labatt's Blue clone. I got the fridge down to 52 degs for the fermenting period with no problem, and last Saturday I re-racked it into the secondary. It's now suppose to set in the fridge for 3 or 4 weeks at 40 degs...
OK Ladies and Gents,
I took a FG reading and it came up 1.014 which is right I need to be (1.012/1.014). The ABF was right at 5. My neighbor and new brew partner came over and we bottled up the beer. We got 53 bottles out of the 5+ gallons. Now it's time to wait 2 weeks for it to carbonate...
