I've still have a few of these in the back of the fridge. About a month after conditioning they tasted really great. clovey, sharp apple, and yeasty. It's acually really hard to describe the taste. wheat beer and cider is about as close as i can get with it really. It did come out super clear...
Can't wait jerm! I was printing out all my info today and trying to decide which car the wife and I will be taking. That switch up on the pub crawl is a little disappointing though. Oh well!
This is Jeffro BTW.
If it hasn't mellowed after a few weeks check your water profile. High calcium, bicarbonate and sulfate levels can accentuate bitterness. Most municipal waters are pretty soft though.
On a side note I always first wort hop and get a smooth bitterness that way. I used 6 oz. in an apa I brewed...
The pile of grains looks completely untouched. I know when I put a fresh open bag of hops to my dogs nose he turns in disgust. Maybe they just don't like the smell? What's funny is he will chow down on the most fresh and potent red onion and just love it. I only give him little bits of course...
Right now I'm drinking coors light... Pure crap. But you know what? I'm drinking it with my dad and that is what he likes and it is his first one in a year. He just got back from Afghanistan today after working with the Afghan military disarming IEDs. My dad is EOD so think Hurt Locker and...
Drinking My house ESB. The Keg is almost gone and it's to the point of perfect clarity and hoppy-malty merriness. It seems so bittersweet (pun intended) the last part is always in perfect unison.
I just finished doing my first mash hop and for the first time ever I dumped the spent grains outside. Usually I just dump them in the trash for later disposal but my wife is not a fan of the strong hop aroma. As I dumped the spent grains my first thought was those damn stray cats are going to...
He must be from the south. Us southerners like to take it slow and cover our bases. You northerns have what I like to call tight buttholes. Way to efficient for my likens. Ain't nobody got time for that!
NOT GUILTY! scenario #two: waits three months for pre trial and pleads not guilty. Waits three to six months for trial. DA is under pressure this month to crack down on DUIs, Has a bad day, PMSing, thinks your lawyer is an *******. For some reason she really hates your haircut and those stupid...
Mattd2, I'm not trying to offend nor am I trying to instigate. But please inform me of what experience you have with either A: getting a DUI -OR- B: Being a lawyer. If you have experience with either of these it would further justify what you are saying and I may take it more seriously. So far...
Base it on whatever you want. I've already told him my experience and what I did. Jail time was never even and afterthought on either of my DUI convictions. Maybe Louisiana is more lax. But then again he is on a homebrew forum asking for legal advice. Hopefully he is smart enough to draw his own...
This is hands down the best thing I've heard so far. Ask locals with DUIs about the judges and typical first time DUI convictions. Don't be afraid to ask! That will be the best in site as to what to do. A lot of people have already been down that road and can give you the same advice a lawyer...
Dude this isn't CSI Miami. He blew, he's guilty. Short of the machine not being calibrated properly there is very little a lawyer can do. Aside from the cop getting fired I guess...
This was what my second attorney was going for. But first of all you have to afford one to get those "privileges" unfortunately a court appointed attorney is often time close acquaintances with the judge and that won't fly. Even my admit nothing, deny everything delay DELAY DELAY! lawyer didn't...
Preface: I say you but I mean your brother
Admit nothing, deny everything, delay delay delay. At least that's what one of my ******* lawyers told me. I've been down that road. Twice. I know...I'm an idiot. Here's my best advice. Look in to the DUI laws. I got mine in Louisiana. we have article...
