I just recently started a 5-gallon batch of apple juice to make hard cider and put in 5 campden tablets to kill any wild yeast. I put the lid on and sealed it and put an airlock in. should I have put on a loose towel instead? is this enough to let the gas Escape for 24 hours?
I brewed a grapefruit IPA, numbers were spot on, gonna transfer my red ale to a keg and that will open up a fermenter! Gonna make another vanilla cream ale, as this will always be on tap!!
