I was wondering if anyone was part of a brewing club in NW Houston. I just moved to the Heights from Montana and was looking for a group of brewers. I have been brewing for 8 years or so. I do both AG and PM brews of a variety of styles. Anyone know of any clubs and/or shops in this area?

Any suggestions for a good AG fall/early winter beer?

Can someone give me some personal experiences in using a CFC versus a plate chiller. I need to buy one of the two here soon. I have used my buddies Shirron plate chiller a few times and it works well. Is there really a reason to spend almost twice as much on a CFC chiller?

Is there any issues with the equipment getting cold? I live in MT and its pretty nippy up here in the winter.

How do you keep an accurate gauge on the temperature of your sparge and mash water. I brewed yesterday and I kept overshooting the water temp and then having to wait for it to cool down. I was using one of those long probe dial thermometers and I don't think it was providing me with very...

Does anyone have a good method for storing all there brewing equipment. I am having a hard time coming up with a good way to store everything from Pots, MLT, down to things like a stir plate and stir bars. Any suggestions?

Mine did not either and they were in there for 10 days. Mine has been kegged for 10 days now and man is it a tasty brew. I wish I had one right now.

So my brew using the above recipie has been sitting in the secondary for 9 days with 8 lbs of strawberries. I have gotten a little color but almost no flavor. ANyone know how to get some strawberry flavor added?

How long did you let you strawberries sit in the secondary? I am getting ready to rack mine from the primary later today or tomorrow and I was wondering how long I should plan on letting them sit in the secondary? Also did you add pectin enzyme to yours at all?

Does anyone have an Extract or Partial Mash recipe for a strawberry blonde?
