I reside in Albany and was wondering the same thing. I checked the AHA website and there is no Albany club. Maybe we could all meet up some time tho and get something organized? Im sure there are some Albany brewers in here.
A few weeks back I was at a seminar where a guy from bud was speaking on brewing. He said that the beechwood aging was so that the yeast would settle on top and the beer would have more contact with the yeast.
It definitely wasn't a great idea for the company to do this from a PR standpoint (clearly someone thought it was). But I would personally rather walk around with a hot spot then dig through trash for dirty cans.
Dos Equis labels are impossible to delabel. I soak everything in oxy clean and all the labels float to the top except those damn dos Equis bottles... I have found magic hat to be a pain as well.

Weekend events look pretty interesting. I was wondering if anyone has attended this in the past and if it would be worth attending one of the seminars. Any advice on the best day to go? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
