    Just tested a diluted sample 50/50 came up with 1.054 x2 2.108 that can't be right. :confused:

    Thanks Woodlandbrew I have not yet pitched yest but I'll try to dilute a sample to get a reading. The OG needs to be at 1.068-1.072

    Bottled today every thing went good. I tested for my FG and it was 1.029 that was with a refractor. Plus I got my second brew in the fermenter Holiday Ale:mug:

    I just brewed a Holiday Ale and wan't to test the OG and it was off the chart I couldn't even read it. I use a refractor . Plus how do you get FG with a refractor?

    It's been almost 10 days fermenting right now I'll give it one more week and take a reading then Bottle. I'm picking up a glass carboy soon so I can get started on my 2nd batch. Thought it would be nice to have if I need a secondary for fruits down the road.

    Today I Brewed a American Pale Ale kit from Brewer's Best. Every thing went good ended with a 1.058 OG reading. :mug:
