    Moving to Cypress From Arizona

That would be nice. I think there is enough brewers in Cypress, it just always needs someone to organize and crack the whip. I remember us meeting about three times maybe when that club existed. We did a craft beer/bar tasting met and greet, then did an all grain brew at someones house (best...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

I got a Magic Chef 6.9 last week at Home Depot. It was $158. Most of the bad reviews on the HD site i noticed were because the people were running it at its lowest for actual freezing. Even then they seemed to be running at zero. I bought a $58 Johnson temp controller with the copper bulb. I set...

    Brewing Clubs in NW Houston

    Texas Hop Garden

yeah potting first year is a good idea. When you transplant always do it when most dormant. I actually did in reverse. I planted a bunch of cascades in the ground and they did great then in Jan this year transplanted them all into a big pot so I could move around and give me more mobility...

    Texas Hop Garden

Sounds good, I will try my best to make it. Should somebody post an individual thread about a Cypress Homebrew Club meeting in the gathering section?

    Man, I love Apfelwein

I bought three containers of spice I want to try. 1.5 oz each. Nutmeg, Cloves and Cinamon. Does anybody have a suggestion on how much of each I should use in a 5 gal batch?
