    BIAB vs All Grain

I recently switched from BIAB to all-grain. Only difference I really notice is efficiency. Adjust the grain bill according to your efficiency in order to hit the correct gravity.

    What did I just brew?

How did it taste? I'm looking for info from people that used Pride of Ringwood for late additions, since from what I've read that it is not advisable. Did you like how yours turned out?

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Kevreh - I had the same issue with this beer. Although my other beers turn out fine, I may have messed something up with this one. No offense to Ed of course, it's likely I'm just too much of a hophead for this recipe.

One gallon glass jugs - hold pressure?

UPDATE If anybody else is ever interested in using these bottles, I contacted Fisher. They said they dont recommend pressurizing them and they have a coating on the inside "Safe-Cote" which is made from PVC

Suitable refrigerators to transform into kegerator?

Yes, and they don't have a freezer section, the cooling element is flat against the back. The coldest they go is not very low, but it is very easy to adjust.

Suitable refrigerators to transform into kegerator?

Sorry I dont know about any of those, but if you can find a wine fridge go for it! No conversion and usually pretty classy looking

One gallon glass jugs - hold pressure?

I have a bunch of 1 gallon Fisher Scientific glass jugs and saw the 1-gallon beer kits on NB and thought they would go perfect together(except for head space but that's what a blow-off tube is for right?) These kits come with the fizzy-drops for carbonation. I would like to skip the step of...

Need to dry hops in two days

Can't comment on hops, but I was faced with a similar dilemma with another similar plant species.. I would warm up the oven a tad (lowest setting or if you have a pilot light in there I heard that is OK as well) then sticking the cones in there and turning off the oven would dry it out quickly...

Looks like a low gravity beer, how do you drink it like that when it won't pour out the glass?

First small hop farm. Help Please. Questions

Depends on your soil texture..what mixture of clay/loam/sand. Figure that out and then I would suggest either calling the drip emitter company with that info or a UC extension office (youre in CA, right?) The UC extension offices are basically a govt-run agency to help farmers out.

Finally, no more rushing through beer

Thank gawd! I can finally take my leisurely 45 minutes to drink 12 oz of beer. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2328902/New-gadget-keeps-bottles-beer-cool-INSIDE-creates-airtight-seal-stop-drinks-going-flat.html So that's like one ounce every 4 minutes. Ugh.

    Most over rated craft beers

Westy. I had it for free and damn glad I didnt spend $80 a bottle on it, or whatever the price is now. Of course it's a good beer but nothing is that good.

    IPA Pickles?!?

These are so good! I put onions from my garden in there as well and I kind of think those are even better than the cukes. JuanMoore, that escabeche is a great idea. I've had many friends try them, and they all make a funny face then say something like "That is...really interesting. And I...
