    putting a chalk board on a corny keg

    I just use a post-it and clamp it in place using the clamp corny lid. It won't move until the keg is empty and I open it for cleaning. Since I usually have a couple sitting in my brew room priming, I always put my label in place when I rack from the carboy

    Turkey fryer was $100 and I like it because I can set the temp and walk away while mashing. I only use the heat stick to bring water to mash temp and then to raise to boil. The rest of the time it is the fryer alone.

    Heat stick soaking.......

    Well I have four 12 hour days scheduled at work before my off day and I got my heat stick built so I put it in my pot filled with water I guess if after 4 days of soaking if it is still dry inside I will get to do my first e-brew.     Adding water during boil to make a 90 minute boil possible?

    I try to save any sparge water after my boil kettle is full just in case I need it. It is better than adding plain old water. Right wrong or indifferent that's what I do.
